What questions should I ask when choosing a REALTOR®?

Here are just a few of the questions you should ask:  Is the person really a REALTOR®, which means they have been licensed, and are a member of the local Real Estate Board?  Does the person work as a REALTOR® full time?  Is the REALTOR® a buyer's or seller's agent - or do they do both?  Can the REALTOR® assist you in identifying financing alternatives?  Can the REALTOR® describe an effective marketing plan (including Internet exposure) for your home if you are selling? And, make sure that you can communicate with your REALTOR®.  Your REALTOR® must be genuinely interested in your needs and wants, and it should be easy for you to stay in touch!
